When out for coffee, Ben likes his much like how he makes it himself at home: some coffee, topped up with hot milk, no foam.  After much discussion over what this constituted – a wet latte? a flat white without foam? The waitress simplified it real fast when he ordered – a cafe con leche.  Being Spanish, she knew straight away how it should be done.  Ben was happy and the coffee was exactly as he wished.  After eating around the walnuts in our banana and walnut loaf, Ben was unfulfilled, and went to order a second round.  Returning with something unexpected – inspired by my almond matcha latte, he ordered an iced matcha infused with peach.  I loved it, but again it did not hit the spot, so he left unfulfilled.

Come for the amazing 70s decor, wonderful roof window which floods the open plan tea shop with light.  Incredible range of gorgeous tea infusions, delicious coffee roast and home made cakes and loafs. Come.

Self described as: “Exotic teas in contemporary cafe with barebrick walls and free WiFi, plus a tea store.”
